Notice is hereby given that the Graton Community Services District will hold a public hearing on 16, May 2022 at 6:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, to consider whether it is in the best interests of the District to award an energy service contract to Energy Equity, dba North Coast Solar and to enter into related financing agreements with US Bank for the provision and installation, of solar panels and related equipment with energy-efficient alternatives (“Project”) as an energy service contract pursuant to Government Code Sections 4217.10, 4217.12 and 4217.13. The District may carry out the proposed Project as an energy services contract contingent upon making findings pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Sections 4217.12 and 4217.13.
Due to the State of California’s Declaration of Emergency Regarding COVID-19, this meeting will be conducted via Zoom Teleconference pursuant to Government Code section 54953(e) as amended by Assembly Bill 361. The District encourages interested parties to attend public meetings and comment on the issues being discussed. Anyone wishing to provide comments may attend the hearing by teleconference or submit written comments to chaddavisson.gcsd@gmail.com. Emails received prior to the meeting will be included in the public record. The Board President will read public comments at the Board meeting, not to exceed three minutes (approximately 300 words).
Instructions on how to join the Zoom Teleconference to provide comments orally during the public hearing will be included in the agenda for the meeting. The agenda and copies of the proposed agreement documents will be available at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, if you need special assistance to participate in the meeting, please contact the District at lindamartinez.gcsd@gmail.com. Notification at least 48 hours prior to the meeting will assist District staff in assuring those reasonable accommodations are made to provide accessibility to the meeting.
If you challenge the decisions on this matter in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues previously raised before the District Board of Directors at the meeting or in written form delivered to the District prior to or at the meeting.
