The Graton Community Services District is a local government agency dedicated to operating and maintaining the wastewater treatment facilities in the unincorporated Graton community.

The district is governed by an elected, five member Board of Directors who attend regular monthly meetings and serve as local decision makers with respect to the sewer district. Notice of Opening on the Graton Community Services District Board of Directors

Would you like to participate in your local community services district? If so, you have an opportunity to run for office. Share in the responsibility of local decision making for your sewer district; join the Graton Community Services District Board of Directors. Nominations open July 13th and close August 7th, 2015. There are currently 3 board members up for re-election. One incumbent has chosen not to run for re-election. This may be your chance to participate!

Interested individuals must reside within the Graton Community Services District service area. To become a candidate for a district director position, contact the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters 435 Fiscal Drive Santa Rosa, CA 95406. You may visit the office in person to file the necessary forms including a Conflict of Interest Statement (Form 700) and an optional Statement of Qualification To Be Published with the Elections Materials. If you choose to provide the qualifications statement, be aware that you will be responsible for the publication costs following the election. See the attached information for more details.
